Martin Luther King Jr is first for making the path to the presidency possible for Barack Obama.
Howard Dean is first for putting in motion the wave of democratic support that put him there.

A couple of friends were over last night and one was taking pictures of Mz Little and posted it on FB. I remembered how when DFA first started, she was the star of DFA becoming known world wide because of the support of Dean people in embassy jobs or school, or other business all over the world. Terry in Tokayo was one that was so active on the blog.
Mz Little continues to charm people with her personable ways and FB keeps her in her own little spotlight. I could probably devote an entire page to her and her antics. She'd probably get a LOT of friends.
Warm wished and lots of love to all here on our little bloggie.

Monday's going to be COLD! Fifty years ago I was on a bus, not quite to Chicago, on my way to another inauguration! Major snowstorm across the east coast. Took six hours to make the last ten miles.
I love Mz Little and am not at all surprised that she continues to charm people!
Julie cold is the word for this week in Vermont but I just checked the forecast and they have moved back from their belief that it will hit 20 degrees below zero on Wed and Thurs nights, now it's looking to be in the single digits below zero!
Oops! Realized it was fifty-TWO years ago. . . . (Of course, I'm not that old, lol!)

Hey, the Kiddle's dropping by for an afternoon visit wit' his mama! Was on his way home from a church retreat, and decided that I wasn't that far off the beaten path. Just realized I don't know if the grands are with him or not.
